As of February 5, 2025, there are no credible reports indicating that a current or former Las Vegas Raiders quarterback has been involved in a fatal car crash. The most notable incident involving a Raiders player and a fatal accident occurred in November 2021, when former wide receiver Henry Ruggs III was involved in a tragic collision that resulted in the death of 23-year-old Tina Tintor and her dog. Ruggs was driving at a speed of 156 mph with a blood alcohol content twice Nevada’s legal limit at the time of the crash.
Following the incident, Ruggs faced legal proceedings and was ultimately sentenced to prison.
It’s important to note that Derek Carr, who was the Raiders’ quarterback during the time of Ruggs’ incident, was not involved in the crash. Carr expressed his support for Ruggs following the event.
As of February 2025, Derek Carr is no longer with the Las Vegas Raiders; he currently plays for the New Orleans Saints. There have been no reports of him being involved in any fatal accidents.
